West Adams, before you sign
Three boulevards run across the neighborhood, Hoover and Vermont run through it north to south, and almost everything is on one of them. Here is what is actually there, from the taqueria to the truffle importer.
The E Line runs the whole southern edge
Light rail along Exposition Boulevard, on the route the Pacific Electric ran until the 1950s. Trains every 8 to 10 minutes, west to Santa Monica, east to downtown and on to East Los Angeles. Stations at La Brea, Farmdale, Crenshaw, Western and Vermont, with Expo/Crenshaw in Jefferson Park where you change for the K Line.

2Ask us what a street is actually like
We have managed buildings in these blocks since 1991, and under the Legacy Asset Management name since 2007. Before you sign, ask which station you can walk to, where parking gets difficult, and what the building is like in August.
If you own a building on one of these streets rather than renting on it, our West Adams property management page sets out how leasing, maintenance and rent collection are actually handled here. If you want the regulatory picture instead, the guide to the historic districts maps which overlays govern which blocks.
Where this comes from. The core of Adams Boulevard is the business district's own published directory. Everything outside it, including all of Washington, Jefferson, Hoover and Vermont and the stretches of Adams beyond Hauser and La Brea, is verified address by address. The corridor runs wider than the district does.
Tell us what we have missed or what has closed. Businesses change faster than any list.
